More great events are coming to Colchester in the coming days.
Here is arts stalwart Ben Howard's five great events to check out in the city.
On Saturday, At the Crossroads welcomes Kentucky bluesman and poet Nat Myers to St Leonard-at-the-Hythe on his debut UK tour.
Known for his 2023 album Yellow Peril, Nat has shared stages with roots music icons like Charley Crockett and Kelsey Waldon.
Myers will be joined on the night by Jack Browning.
Starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16 plus a booking fee.
On Sunday night at Coda, there's a night of electrifying funk and disco with High Fade, whose fans include Jack Black and members of Rage Against The Machine.
Honed on Edinburgh's streets and celebrated internationally, the band's performances are energetic and unforgettable. Support comes from Dan Millson and MACK.IE.

CALAN play at Colchester Arts Centre on Tuesday, weaving Welsh mythology into a powerful musical experience.
Their new album, Nefydd, revives folklore tales of murderous princes and bold highwaymen, using harp, fiddle, accordion, and song.
Known for performing everywhere, from house concerts to the Royal Albert Hall, CALAN brings Welsh culture to life through harp, fiddle, accordion, and song. Support is from The Marcellas.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £23.
On Friday, an in-store event at HMV Colchester features playing a playback of The Weekend Blues Band's new album 'Misunderstood'.
Songwriters Colin Bennett and Colin Steele will be there to chat with attendees and sign albums.
Their song writing has enjoyed success abroad, so it's an exciting opportunity for fans.
Starts at 4pm. Free Entry.
Later on Friday, Audio Anarchy presents Ageing Anarchy at Babas Bar.
The award-winning jungle DJ/Producer Mrs Magoo headlines along with DJ sets from Supermase Mobbs x WORZAL, Xofurmik Parr x Zac Steele, Digital Mystery x Slug-Man, WhatKnotZzZ, Coppin, Crust x EC3 and Sick Squid.
Starts at 8pm. Tickets are £6 + booking fee.
