EMERGENCY services rushed to Stanway after a man collapsed on the floor and was given CPR.

The East of England Ambulance Service dispatched crews to London Road, Stanway, after receiving reports of a medical emergency at around 8.50am this morning.

An ambulance, two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance officer vehicle, and a Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crews discovered that “CPR had already commenced” on the man.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance said: “An adult man was transported to Colchester General Hospital for further treatment.”

His current condition is unknown.
