ESSEX Police have arrested a woman for drink driving offences in Colchester.
Over the weekend police officers noticed a vehicle leaving the city centre with no lights on.
Special constabularies were patrolling the city centre to focus on night time economy-related issues.
Upon stopping the vehicle they found the driver was driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit.
Tests in custody showed her as almost double the legal limit.
Following the arrest, a woman has been arrested and charged with drink driving offences.
