HARRY Anderson feels he is in a ‘good place’ after delivering some eye-catching performances for Colchester United.
The 27-year-old winger has impressed for the U’s over recent weeks, having started their last four successive matches after returning from injury.
Anderson has scored three goals in his last five games for Colchester and the former Lincoln City and Bristol Rovers man is keen to continue his good form and help Danny Cowley’s side move up the League Two table.

Anderson said: “The main thing is getting games behind you and a bit of consistency.
“It’s hard when you pick up injuries and you’re a bit in and out but I feel really good now and in a good place.
“I want to have a big impact on games and I’ve obviously played a few games in quick succession now.
“I’m enjoying playing and being out there and hopefully, I can get a few more goals.”
Anderson came close to adding to his goal tally in Colchester’s 1-1 draw with Bradford City, last Saturday.
The attacker was disappointed he did not put away his first-half chance against the Bantams, after he showed great skill to beat his man and drive towards goal before unleashing a low cross-shot, that flew just past the far post.
“It’s good that I’m getting those goalscoring chances,” said Anderson.
“I was disappointed not to score in the first half.
“Normally, they’re my bread and butter and they go in the bottom corner.

“I just didn’t connect with it right and it went past the post.
“It felt like I was getting into some good positions and I just lacked that final bit of putting it in the net.
“But it’s obviously a positive that I’m still getting in those positions.”
Colchester are now preparing for their trip to play Grimsby Town this weekend, aiming to get back to winning ways in League Two.
The U’s have drawn three of their last four league games and Anderson admits they need to start converting them into victories.
Anderson added: “We need to turn those draws into three points – that’s the main thing.
“We’ve had to chase the last couple of games which we don’t want to do.
“We would like to go up in games but I feel like we’re playing really good football, at the minute.
“We’re taking things from the training ground and putting it on the pitch and hopefully we continue that and we’ll start going ahead in games and not having to scrap to try and get a goal, just to get a point.”
