A COLCHESTER school which is part of a documentary about smartphones has confirmed the show will air in two parts next month.

Swiped: The school that banned smartphones is a Channel 4 documentary featuring students at The Stanway School which tackles the timely issue of the impact of smartphones on children’s behaviour with a pioneering social experiment.

After the first part airs next month, the series will be an ‘instant boxset’ with both episodes available to stream on All Four.

Episode 1 will be shown on Channel 4 on Wednesday, December 11 at 8pm with both episodes available to be streamed from 9pm that evening.  

Episode 2 will air on Thursday, December 12 at 8pm.
