Emergency services were called to a village outside of Colchester following a crash between a car and a tractor.
Essex Police and East of England ambulance services attended an incident on Mersea Road in Langenhoe today at around 12pm.
Eye witnesses reported that the incident involved a car and a tractor, causing slight delays for motorists in the area.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just before 11am to a road traffic collision involving a car and a tractor on the Mersea Road in Langenhoe.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported the driver of the car, an adult woman, to Colchester General Hospital for further assessment and treatment for minor injuries.”
Traffic has since returned to normal.
