Emergency services are tackling a fire at the hospital car park in Colchester.
A fire reportedly broke out at the car park at Colchester General Hospital in Turner Road at around 11.30am.
Eyewitnesses have reported smoke and flames coming from a car near the entrance of the car park.
Traffic in the area is queueing up.
The hospital and Essex Fire and Rescue Services have been contacted for further information.
