A three-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital in London after being hit by a car in south Essex.
Emergency services were called to Broadlands Road, Hockley, at around 9:56am, following reports of a crash.
An air ambulance was also spotted landing at the scene. Witnesses told the Echo a child had been hit by a car.
The East of England Ambulance Service has now confirmed that a three-year-old has been taken to the Royal London Hospital.
Details of her condition and injuries are yet to be revealed.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.56am with reports of a collision in Broadlands Road, Hockley.
“We sent Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, an ambulance and an ambulance officer vehicle.
“A three-year-old girl was taken to The Royal London Hospital by land ambulance.”
Essex Police have also been contacted for comment by the Echo.
