A WOMAN will have £5 deducted from her benefits payments each month after she assaulted an emergency worker in Colchester.
Kelly Fitzpatrick, 32, appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court earlier this month after she assaulted Essex Police’s PC Gilbert in July.
She admitted one charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Magistrates fined Fitzpatrick, of Hanover Square, Feering, £200 and ordered her to pay an £80 surcharge as well as £85 in prosecution costs.
A total of £5 will be deduced from benefit payments each week, starting on Wednesday, December 4.
