POLICE have closed a slip road onto the A12 after a road traffic incident.
The exit which takes drivers off the Stanway roundabout and onto the A12 towards Colchester was cordoned earlier this evening.
Drivers heading northbound have instead taken a detour towards the Tollgate roundabout and onto London Road.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
