A NEW deli, bakery and café has launched inside a popular restaurant in Colchester.
Mimosa, in The Crescent, Colchester Business Park, has now launched its very own “gourmet deli and bakery”.
Open from 8am on weekdays, the bakery produces fresh pastries, breads, cakes, and more on a daily basis.
In October as the left-hand front windows of Mimosa had been boarded up with signs that said “new deli” and “coming soon”.
The space has been transformed into a well-lit area with plenty of seating.
A large Mimosa neon sign has been set up on the right-hand wall which is full of green furnishings.
At the bakery’s counter, you can find goods like teacakes, croissants, pain au chocolate, cakes, and cupcakes.
You can also order sandwiches, slow-cooked lasagne, moussaka, hand-made sausage rolls and scotch eggs at the deli counter.
There are also a wide variety of hot and cold drinks available to order.
Kasia Dowsett, Mimosa manager said, "Our chefs have curated the perfect breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.
“The artisan deli counter will host daily freshly-baked morning pastries, breads, cakes & bakes.
“We have complimentary samples and mulled wine all this week to celebrate our new space - we look forward to seeing you."
