A Colchester man has been arrested following an investigation into burglaries across the city.
On December 2, Essex Police officers arrested a 38-year-old man while on patrol on suspicion of burglary.
He was charged with two counts of dwelling burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and one count of shoplifting.
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed that the suspect was remanded in custody and appeared in court on Tuesday, December 3.
