The Hoosiers's slot on the 4Music Stage was a fancy-dress party bursting with energy.
Skeletons playing trombones and female dancers in skimpy superhero outfits darted around the band, who themselves gave it all they had.
The three-piece of Irwin Sparkes, Martin Skarendahl and Alphonso Sharland got the crowds jumping with their well-known tracks Cops and Robbers, Goodbye Mr A and Worried About Ray.
But the pop-rock act's lesser-known songs received a half-hearted response from stadium-goers, whose numbers had decreased following the previous set by Duffy.
