Girls Aloud brought sex appeal to a festival gig.
Eyes were transfixed on the group as they strutted their stuff in tight, black outfits, moving sexily with male dancers.
The all-girl pop act, created six years ago by ITV's Popstars: The Rivals, entertained V Stage crowds with hit singles Sound of the Underground, Biology and Jump.
These tracks performed by the five-piece, who have entered the record books for the girl group with the most ever consecutive top ten singles, got festival-goers' hands in the air.
But throughout the set the girls tried to inject the afternoon audience with more energy, shouting “let me see your hands” at regular intervals.
Some revellers complained Girls Aloud were out of tune, others they were singing too quietly.
The visually-rich set certainly drew crowds, but musically V offered better.
