TINSEL, turkey and the Tardis made up an alternative festive performance by an adult drama group.
The Tendring Adults Drama, which meets weekly at Clacton County High School, held its first production on Thursday.
The group of adults with learning difficulties, run with Tendring Adult Community College, only formed in September.
A Doctor Who Christmas was put together by drama teacher Jenny Reece.
“The experience has allowed the members to develop their confidence and communication skills,” she said.
“All members have shown great enthusiasm and an interest in the topic. The performance brings together many interests of the group and involves acting, singing and dancing.
“As always, there is a moral to the story – that we should be grateful for what we have during the festive season.”
