POLICE are appealing for information after more than 20 vehicles were broken into over two nights.
Thieves targeted the vehicles around the Valley Road area of Clacton on Friday and Saturday.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating a spate of incidents where items such as wallets and stereos were stolen from vehicles in the Valley Road area of the town.
“A number of items are believed to have been stolen, have been recovered. An 18-year-old man from Clacton has received a police caution in connection with a number of thefts and attempted thefts from motor vehicles.
“A 22-year-old man, also from Clacton, has been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, and a 17-year-old youth from Clacton has been charged with theft from motor vehicles.”
Both have been bailed to appear at Colchester magistrates court on February 12.
Officers are still urging anyone with information about the incidents to come forward.
