Festive gathering
About 50 Women’s Institute members from across Tendring gathered to celebrate Christmas.
Thorpe Le-Soken WI Area group hosted the afternoon of carols and readings at the Emmanuel Church, Station Road, Walton.
Clacton and Harwich MP Douglas Carswell, Frinton and Walton town mayor Terry Allen, and Essex Federation chairman of the WI, Julie Alen also attended.
At the end of the service, everyone enjoyed tea and mince pies.
