Heritage experts working to restore a Victorian town to its glory have three months to decide how to spend more than half a million pounds.
A grant of £800,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund was given to the Dovercourt Townscape Heritage Initiative in 2005.
About £150,000 has already been spent on helping to reinstate the Victorian character of buildings in the town.
Although a number of properties in Orwell Terrace and its surrounding area have been improved under the initiative, a large proportion of the money is still to be used and project bosses have until March to allocate the money.
