A TEENAGER was behind bars today for an attack on a pensioner.
A court heard how 80-year-old Raymond Skillin was assaulted in his own home after he confronted a burglar.
As he struggled with the 17-year-old, Mr Skillin was headbutted and punched in the face so hard his false teeth came out.
Chelmsford Crown Court heard how Mr Skillin has lost confidence since the incident and is fearful that his attacker may return to his home.
Teenager Nathan Martin, of Blackberry Road, Stanway, Colchester, admitted charges of burglary and actual bodily harm, and asked for three similar matters to be considered.
