A SECOND man from Essex has been arrested in connection with alleged racist and homophobic chanting at a football match.
Police questioned and bailed the 18-year-old man yesterday after reports that abuse was shouted at Portsmouth FC player Sol Campbell during a home game against Tottenham Hostpur.
Earlier this week, a 20-year-old man from Essex was arrested in relation to the investigation Of the 16 suspects, police believe they have identified 12 and have now questioned and bailed five of them.
They were all questioned on suspicion of indecent or racial chanting at a designated football match.
The remaining identified suspects will be questioned in the next few days.
