A man was punched in the head by a robber in Colchester.
The victim was walking along Forest Road, on Greenstead estate, when he was approached by the attacker.
He was left with cuts and bruises after his assailant made off with his two Sony Ericsson mobile phones – worth a total of £300 – and his wallet.
The robber is described as white, aged 18 to 22, and of stocky build. He wore a dark hooded top, tracksuit bottoms and a trainers.
The attack happened between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Thursday .
- Anyone who was in the Forest Road area before or after the incident, who witnessed the robbery taking place or who recognised the description of the assailant is asked to call detectives at Colchester CID on 0300 333 4444.
