REMEMBER when you were a teenager in the 1950s?
If you went to the village school in Thorpe, played football on the meadow or darts in the club, there is a special event for you to swap memories of happy times with some old friends.
Dave Stewart, of Thorpe, is organising the sixth reunion of people who were living in the village in the 1950s.
The big reunion will be held at Thorpe Sports and Social Club, on March 28. On previous occasions, some 100 people gathered for these reunions, and anyone interested should write to Dave at Knowle Cottage, Vicarage Lane, Thorpe, CO16 0EH, or call 01255 861209 to give their name (maiden, if female) and telephone number.
The cost of the event and a finger buffet will be covered by a raffle on the night.
