AN amateur photographer has captured the “dramatic” collapse of the Naze at Walton.
Peter Clarke, of Columbine Gardens, Walton, took pictures of the cliff edge, in front of the Naze car park, before and after the most recent collapse.
“The first picture was taken on December 5, and the depression is only six to nine inches, but the next picture shows that by December 18, there is an eight to ten feet difference,” he said.
“I’m up at the Naze seven days a week to walk the dog and I always carry my camera with me. It is a dramatic change over the course of only two weeks.
“The council have now put a fence up around it because the drop must be 30 to 40 feet.”
