Eight youths have been arrested following a night of criminal damage to cars and houses in West Mersea.
A total of ten criminal damage offences were reported to Essex Police on one night following damage to motor vehicles and houses between Yorick Road and Seaview Avenue.
Following the incidents, from the evening of Friday, December 19 through to early hours of the following morning, eight arrests were made.
An Essex Police spokesman said one of the eight was reprimanded, while the others have been bailed.
Sergeant Jon Butcher said: "I would urge anyone who witnessed any of the offences or who has any information to contact the south Colchester neighbourhood policing team on 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
