MOTORISTS in Essex are being asked to be on the lookout for a missing man.
Jamie Gower was last seen over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend at his home in Grainthorpe, near Louth in Lincolnshire.
During that weekend, he spent some time with a friend in the Scartho area of Grimsby and at home with his family.
The 29-year-old has not been since, but his moped was found in the Baysgarth Park area on Tuesday April 21.
He is described by police as a “very resourceful young individual”, who would hitch-hike out of the area.
Jamie is described as white, about 6ft 1 ins tall and of slim build. He has short brown hair, blue eyes and dark, heavy eyebrows.
Lincolnshire Police are very concerned for his welfare and are keen to speak to anyone who knows him, has given him a lift or may have seen him since mid-April.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Gibbon, from the Lincolnshire force, said: “We’re trying to trace any motorists in Essex, particularly van and lorry drivers, who may have given Jamie a lift in the last few weeks.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Lincolnshire Police on 01522 532222.
