PERFECT pictures snapped during the year by keen amateur photographers are creating a bold and colourful statement at Clacton Library.
Clacton Camera Club is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a stunning show of images of faraway places, family get-togethers and off-the-beaten-track gems.
Photographers have captured the snowfields in Antarctica, the shimmering waters of the Lake District, the slopes of Snowdon and the beaches of Suffolk with their lenses.
The club is now focusing on a new season of weekly Friday night meetings at the Friends Meeting House, in Granville Road, Clacton, which starts in September.
A mixture of visiting speakers, demonstrations, workshops and competitions is lined up, with the highlight of the season an evening with photographer and former editor of Photographer Monthly magazine, Will Cheung.
