THE Prodigy have announced a gig in Essex next year.
The group, which formed in Braintree in the early Nineties, will play Southend in January as part of their world tour for current album, Invaders Must Die.
Liam Howlett, a former pupil of Alec Hunter High School in Braintree, with Braintree College student Keith Flint and Leroy Thornhill formed the band, later taking on fourth member Keith Palmer.
They will be playing the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff, on Tuesday, January 26. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, from £32.50.
