EXPLORER Scouts have just returned from a Danish adventure.
A total of 31 youngsters from the Halstead and Colne Valley District Scout Group went to the Bla Sommer Danish Jamboree.
The youngsters and seven leaders joined nearly 20,000 Scouts from 68 countries for the eight-day event, close to the German border.
During the their stay, the Scouts took part in a range of activities, including orienteering and tree climbing with ropes.
The final part of their trip involved a stay at the Danish Scout headquarters in Copenhagen. Steve Sudbury, Scout leader, said: “It’s be an experience the young people will remember for the rest of their lives. They were a credit to the district, their parents and their country.”
