THESE cute canines are looking for a new home where they stay together.
Long-haired miniature dachshunds Charlie and Lucy, both aged seven , need a new place to live, because their owner, Gillian Round, has had to give up her house for a flat.
She thinks it would be unfair to keep the sausage-dogs in a flat without outdoor access, but says giving them up is breaking her heart.
She said: “It is the hardest decision I ever had to make.
“I want them to go to a really nice home where somebody will love them and look after them like I have done.”
Half-siblings Charlie and Lucy need to be rehomed together, as they are inseparable and pine for each other if ever they are apart. Gillian said: “They are both adorable and soppy, and daft as brushes! They are very lovely-natured.”
The pair do not need a large amount of exercise and are generally easy to care for. However, they have very little experience with children.
Charlie is neutered, but Lucy is not. Both dogs have been microchipped and vaccinated.
