ARMED robbers took cash from a man after threatening him with a gun.
The drive-by robbery took place in broad daylight in Anchor Road, Clacton.
Two men in a turquoise L-reg Ford Mondeo drove up to the 23-year-old victim.
Donna Veasey, Essex Police spokesman, said: “They demanded he hand over his belongings and showed him what he believed to be a black handgun.
“They stole £70 in cash, as well as two of his cards.”
It happened at 3.15pm on Tuesday.
They drove off in the direction of Ford Road.
Police said the driver did all the talking during the incident and had the gun.
He was of mixed race, and about 20, with shaved black hair.
His accomplice was white, tall and skinny and about 23.
