KIDS, parents and grandparents got creative with empty cardboard boxes and tin foil.
More than 30 families attended a free two-day event at Vibe Youth Centre, Dovercourt, and made robots from household items. Diane Warner, who organises out-of-school activities in the Harwich area, said: “Some families came with just mum, some with grandparents. The children were aged between two and 13.
“The event gave parents a chance to have a go at activities they would not otherwise do.
“It encouraged interaction between them and their children, and inspired them to go home and think about other fun things they could do at home.”
