On a Saturday evening, while taking my little dog for a walk over the fields at Layer Marney – fields I have walked many times with my wife – I had the misfortune to be attacked by two black and white collie dogs.
These dogs were muzzled at the time, but appeared to not have anyone with them.
This resulted in me having to spend considerable time at the hospital for treatment, and my little dog having to have emergency treatment at the vets.
This was extremely stressful and worrying.
I feel now that I can no longer walk these fields with my dogs, and be able to enjoy our beautiful countryside, without feeling threatened.
