POPULAR antiques show Flog It! will be making its way to Clacton next week.
The town’s Princes Theatre will be hosting the event for the first time on Wednesday.
Presenter Paul Martin is inviting people to Clacton Town Hall to have their antiques and family heirlooms valued for free.
If people are interested in selling them, the show’s experts will consider putting them into auction and flogging them off a few weeks later.
Stephen Mayzes, cabinet member for leisure at Tendring Council, which runs the theatre, said: “It is another example of the council promoting this excellent venue for a wide range of events and it is great that we have attracted the Flog It! programme”
Doors are open from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The programme – which goes out on BBC2 – regularly draws an audience of two million viewers.
