FOR one group of youngsters, these school holidays have been as sweet as they could be.
Youngsters at Mistley Norman Kids Club spent a day making different types of sweets as part of a food week.
Claire Moss, manager of the club, held at Furze Hill village hall, said: “Every week we have had a fun activity.
“We have had trips out and now we have had sweet-making.
“They made candyfloss and donuts and all types of cakes.
“On Friday we will be having Italian day and they will be making pizzas.”
The sweet day saw the club fully booked, with youngsters between four and 16 years old.
Mrs Moss added: “We had a really good day, it was lots of fun.”
The club will be open for the rest of the holidays, until Thursday. It will then be open from 3pm to 6.30pm on Fridays.
