DETECTIVES are trying to trace the owners of commemorative coins and a silver bracelet recovered in Harwich.
Ten peopled have been arrested by officers as part of Operation Obverse, which was designed to tackle burglaries and those handling stolen property in the area.
The operation, which has been running for two weeks, saw two people arrested at their homes in Harwich on Tuesday, which led to the discovery of the three coins and the braclet. Investigating officer, Det Con Steve Knight, said: “We’re hoping residents recognise their items, which we believe were stolen earlier this summer.
“We hope to reunite them with their rightful owners so would like people to contact us if they believe any item to be theirs.”

l A 17-year-old youth and an 18-year-old man are currently being questioned by detectives after being arrested on suspicion of theft.
