Future champs - Tiptree children get a chance to meet Luca Modric
A PREMIER League football ace passed on tips to youngsters in Tiptree.
Croatian Tottenham Hotspur star Luca Modric dropped in to a Spurs soccer session, at the village sports centre, in the grounds of Thurstable School.
He showed children a glimpse of the wizardry with the ball that has helped his team win their first three games of the Premier League season.
Tottenham last achieved the feat in 1960 – decades before the midfield maestro’s young Essex audience were born.
