KIND-HEARTED youngsters raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Three Brownies from the 7th Maldon Pack – Emma Carter, Charlotte Rushton and Lauren Palmer – held a cake and trinket sale that raised £220 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and Parkinson’s Disease Society.
The ten-year-olds attended the Parkinson’s Disease Society at Plantation Hall, Colchester Road, Heybridge, where they handed a cheque to chairman Derek Martin.
The money was added to the cash raised at a recent concert and garden party, meaning the Maldon branch was able to send off more than £1,500 to help fund research into the illness.
