THERE was fun in the sun as It’s A Knockout came to Clacton Cricket Club.
More than 100 competitors took part in wacky events based on the classic Saturday-night TV show.
They dressed up as kangaroos and giant sprouts as they tried to manoeuvre a 10ft pizza above their heads on sticks across an obstacle course.
Teams from across Tendring joined in the fun which was organised by the Vista Road cricket club.
Spokesman Gary Kirk said: “It’s the first time we’ve done it and everyone had a fantastic time.
“Some of the teams really wanted to win even though it was a fun event and they were all wearing fancy dress. It was hilarious.”
