A BROTHER and sister whose clothes and CDs were stolen from their parents’ car have written a letter to the crooks.
Alivia and Harry Shelton, aged four and two, returned from a day out with their parents Tracy and Andrew to find their car’s steering wheel wrenched off and items taken from inside.
In a letter to the Gazette, the siblings said: “We are only aged four and two, but when we are naughty we have to sit on the naughty step. What do you have to do? It seems you just run away.”
The Vauxhall Cavalier was parked in the Queens Road car park in Earls Colne, while the family went to a fun day at the Conservative Club.
Mrs Shelton, from Halstead, said: “Alivia said they should go to jail. What they did is disgraceful and they don’t have any kind of conscience. They don’t understand what they do to people’s lives and the damage they have done has ruined my car.”
