Delicious – Kevin and Natasha Hughes tempt Shaun Pullum from the Lemon Tree Restaurant with the season’s first oysters
WHO better to serve up the first fruits of the sea than Colchester fishmongers Kevin and Natasha Hughes.
They marked the beginning of the new oyster season with a special tasting session for customers.
Held at the Lemon Tree in Colchester, the husband and wife team wanted to show their appreciation for all the support they have received during the first year of their fishmongers business and thought the start of the new season was an opportunity to do so.
Natasha said: “People have been so kind we just wanted to give something back. The oysters were fresh on the day and delivered to us that morning.”
