COMMUTERS face a further week of travel misery after a rail workers union voted for more strikes.
The drivers' union Aslef said its members will walk out for a week from September 21 after failing to accept a deal aimed at ending its dispute with National Express East Anglia over pay and conditions.
The strike will hit all of the rail firm's lines, including the services from Southend Victoria and Clacton to London Liverpool Street
Workers staged a series of strikes last month but the action was suspended after a new deal was put forward.
That deal has now been rejected.
