A GARDEN centre celebrated its 60th anniversary with a fun day for gardeners.
Visitors to Olivers Nurseries in Maldon Road, Witham, enjoyed a barbecue, bar, children’s competitions, a bouncy castle, and displays of tractors, old photographs and tools.
There were also charity stalls for Ambulance.co.uk" target="_blank">Essex Air Ambulance, Farleigh Hospice and the RNLI, and demonstrations by artist Jane Henderson.
As part of the celebrations, there was the official opening of the Tea Rooms, which will serve tasty treats for visitors.
