A TEAM of cyclists have raised more than £7,000 for Action Medical Research.
Pippa Munro, her husband Simon and their friends Dave Totham and Marise Franklin have just completed their final cycling event of the year in aid of the charity.
The team took part in Ride 24 – a 24-hour race at the Top Gear track – in June, rode from London to Paris in July and most recently did the Essex 100 on September 20.
Mrs Munro, 35, of Scott Avenue, Wethersfield, said: “Having only taken up cycling as a hobby at the start of this year, we have all realised this is something we absolutely love.”
Action Medical Research is dedicated to improving the health of babies and children.
