HOOVES pounded the pavement in a charity horse ride.
More than 20 horses and ponies walked from the Castle Inn pub, in Ramsey, to Barrack Lane, in Harwich.
The riders were all dressed in pink, with some people also following on foot, all to raise funds for Cancer Research.
Fiona Heath, who helped to organise the day, said: “The youngest rider was about ten with her mother leading her on foot.
“We got £360 in the collection buckets on the way.
“We have more than £1,000 in sponsorship already, but we hope to have more than £2,000 by the time it is all in.”
