A CAR dealer has been convicted of ordering fire bomb attacks on the homes of two north Essex detectives.
Wayne Taylor, of Merrilees Crescent, Holland on Sea, was found guilty of two counts of arson with intent to endanger life.
He was cleared of two charges of attempted murder and a third unrelated arson.
Taylor, 42, was remanded in custody at the Old Bailey for sentencing on November 3.
