A POWER company has apologised following a power cut to almost 400 homes in Tendring.
EDF Energy said power was interrupted to 398 homes in Frinton, Great Holland and Little Clacton, at 4.28am this morning.
Spokesman Tracey Sparling said the cut was due to a fault with an overhead line.
“Engineers are on site working to complete a repair as quickly as possible so that supplies can be restored,” she said.
“Roads affected include Church Lane and Little Clacton Road, in Great Holland, and part of Frinton-on-Sea and Little Clacton.
“We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
