A MAN was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing, only to get up and walk away.
The incident happened at about 8.45am, on Tuesday, on a crossing near the junction of Middleborough and North Hill, in Colchester.
The pedestrian was on the crossing when it is believed he was hit by a grey sports car.
PC Simon Kirk, of Stanway Road Policing Unit, said: “The pedestrian walked away after being knocked down, and went to the Colchester Institute where he received treatment.
“We would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened and we would like the driver to come forward.”
