Stub it out! That's the message from Clacton firefighters who hope to see a lot less smoke in the future - in more ways than one.

They are joining the ranks of those across Tendring trying to kick the habit.
"We have all been smoking longer than we would like to care to remember," said sub-officer John Smith.
"More than anyone, we know the dangers of smoking both to health and from the point of view of causes of fire."
Sub-officer Smith said they had tried to quit before without success but had decided to try again with help from Tendring Primary Care Trust's (PCT) stop smoking support service.
