It was not so much quick on the draw but more quick on the sculpt for a group of artists in Colchester.

They were taking part in a live art event organised by the Colchester Arts Centre yesterday, which involved shopping for materials in one of the town's DIY stores and then immediately creating a work of art in the store's car park.
Entitled Spend and Make, the people behind the live art experience were artists Ben Conners and Holly Darton.
They created the project as a way of placing limitations on the artistic process and decided to hold the Colchester event so local artists could experience their unique way of working.
