SOUTHEND United crashed out of the Essex Senior Cup at a wet and windy Roots Hall last night before Blues coach Paul Brush revealed they might not even enter next season's competition.
Thurrock midfielder Danny Shipp hit home a last-gasp winner to secure the visitors a place in the final with a 1-0 win and leave Brush to question his club's future in the cup.
"It's something we will certainly review in the summer," he said.
"We will decide then what we're going to do, but we were forced to play a very young team and our goalkeeping coach Lee Turner who hadn't played for two years.
"We fought hard though and in the end it was gutting to lose to a goal in the very last minute, but, in truth, we could have lost by a few more if their finishing hadn't been as bad as the officials."
